Why are we certified

We at The Stove and Spa Store take very seriously the fact that we are putting fire into your home. For this reason our technicians are CSIA (Chimney Sweep Instute of America) and NFI (National Fireplace Institute) certified for your safety. Many hearth manufactures require that an NFI certified technician install their stove.

NFI

A National Fireplace Institute Certification formally validates the Specialist’s extensive knowledge and expertise based on predetermined standards of safety and protocol. Hiring an NFI Certified Specialist ensures your hearth project is executed with the utmost in safety,  professionalism & industry expertise providing you with an exceptional experience from start to finish!

CSIA

CSIA Certification is the only nationally recognized certification program for the chimney service industry as a standard measurement of technical expertise. CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep credentials are proof of excellence among chimney service professionals. 

Our Certified Technicians

Jake C.

Jake has been a certified installer for over 30 years. He knows the codes and safety standards for all the units being installed, so you can have the confidence your unit will be installed to code.

Devin K.

Devin has been with the company for 4 years and been certified for 3. When he goes out to clean your unit be assured that he will do a thorough cleaning and inspection. He will also make note of any safety concerns in a detailed report for your records. 

Brandon K.

Brandon has been with The Stove and Spa Store for 9 years and been a certified chimney sweep for over 6 years. Brandon can help you with all your heating needs and help you create the fireplace of your dreams!

Bill R.

Bill is our senior technician. He’s been with The Stove and Spa Store since 1995. He has the answers to any stove question from over 30 years ago! He is our knowledge bank for all things hearth.

Video Inspection Equipment 

We use state of the art video equipment to see the interior of your chimney. If we see any faults in the integrity of your chimney lining and interior these pictures will be featured in your inspection report.
